How we score firms
The trust score (0–100) is a weighted composite. Affiliate commissions are not an input. Weights below are our starting model and will be published with every change.
Payout reliability
35%Median time to pay, cadence of verified payouts, and denial reports we could substantiate.
Rule stability
20%How often the firm tightened rules in the last 12 months. Frequent tightening lowers the score.
Rule clarity
15%Whether rules are published in one place, unambiguous, and match what support says.
Track record
15%Years operating, ownership transparency, regulator warnings.
Verified reviews
15%Ratings from buyers we verified with an order confirmation. No anonymous reviews.
Verified, researched and tracked
- Verified
- A person has checked the rules and prices against the firm's own pages, and the date is shown.
- Researched
- Our agents gathered the rules from the sources linked under each program. Nobody has confirmed them yet. Where sources disagreed we show “Check firm's site” rather than pick one.
- Tracked
- The firm is listed and its pages are watched for changes, but its rules haven't been collected yet.
Trust scores are only shown once a firm has the payout and rule-history data they're built from.
How rule changes are caught
- Our Rule Watcher agent fetches each firm's rules, FAQ and pricing pages several times a day.
- It compares the page with the last saved copy and, if something changed, drafts a plain-English summary.
- A person checks the summary against the source page before it is published.
- Subscribers to that firm get an alert, and the change is archived on the firm's page permanently.
